I’ve had a special request to interview Sun and thought that would be an interesting challenge.  I always viewed Sun to be much like myself and as you read, her words would be mine in real life, in those situations.  Let’s see how I/Sun would do in an interview like this.

• What is your name?
  Sun Young Kim Bell

• Do you know why you were named that?
  Well I am adopted so I can only speculate.  My birth mother named me after herself.  From what I know of her and her life, she understood she wouldn’t be long for this world and I believe she wanted me to further on her name.  Perhaps it would be so she could feel she was still apart of the world after she was gone.  My father was from Egypt and I have no information on him.

• Single or taken?
  Married..oh so married.  Mostly happy about it.  But there are times you know.  He is the best thing that could have happened to me for oh so many reasons.

• Stop being a Mary Sue!
  What?  I’m so far from that you have absolutely no idea!  I’m lucky if I can do anything right it seems.  Or brush my hair and teeth in a day.  I’m usually down in the sand or mud with kids. Imagine that!  Mary Sue indeed!

• What’s your eye color?
  Chocolate brown.  Probably from my father.
  *
• How about hair color?
  Black.

• Have you any family members?
  I was raised by two sisters who adopted me.  We lived in France.  My younger mom lives with me now on the island.  My husband Jin. Then there is Jade, my sister in law and my four children.  Oh and who could forget Biscuit.  He’s our dog.  That is the extent of my family tree.  For now anyway.

• Oh, how about pets?
  Just Biscuit.  Before him we had a very beloved dog named Sophie.  She lived a good long life.  The year I was alone, she was my constant companion……   What is the look for?  Alone?  Oh that is a long story in itself.

• That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like?
  Hmmmmmm, I don’t know really.  Oh yes I do!  Winter.  I HATE winter!

• Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
  I love gardening and for a few years I made juice from the grapes I grew.  But, I’m not doing that anymore.  I don’t have time for hobbies.  Did I mention the part where I have four toddlers?  Uhhhh, yeah.

• Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
  Anyway?  That is a very broad term isn’t it.  I mean we hurt people in varying degrees every day don’t we?

• Ever… killed anyone before?
  Seriously?  Did you really just ask that?  Hmmmmm……Although, under the right circumstances…. I could maybe…no, that is ridiculous.  Can’t believe I even thought that….. What was I thinking?  I was thinking about the man who killed my mom.  But two wrongs don’t make a right do they?

• What kind of animal are you?
  Ummm, I’m not actually an animal person.  I have grown to love dogs for sure.  But other than that, no.  If I had to choose an animal, I would want to be something completely free with little worry of predators and super fast so I couldn’t be caught at all.

• Name your worst weaknesses.
  Well, Jin would say it’s my communication skills, and by that he would mean I want to talk about everything.  *laughs*  His would be a lack of communications skills, just so we are clear!  I think I would say, that I tend to give in and sacrifice myself for others too much.  Moving to the island was for my own safety but now I could have a life outside the island.  Yet, I don’t for the sake of everyone else.  If I put too much thought to that, I know it would be a huge problem between Jin and I.  So, I stay silent and keep it tucked away in the back of my mind.  I had a child, that turned into 4 babies, for Jin.  I think you get the picture here.

• Do you look up to anyone at all?
  Oh gosh.  This is where I come up with someone fantastic and inspiring right? Well, would it sound stupid to say everyone then?  Even my children do things every day that are amazing and I think, Wow, that’s my kid!  Perhaps I am easily impressed.  But I prefer to think about it as I see the beauty in the little things.

• Are you straight, gay or bisexual?
  *looks at interviewer strangely*  Have you been listening to me at all?

• Do you go to school?
  Long, long time ago it seems.   I went to a good school in France where I lived with my two mothers.  Graduated with top scores too, so I must be smart, huh? *laughs*

• Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
  Oh Boy!  Been there and done that!  One husband, four toddlers currently and I raised my husband’s beautiful sister as well.  I never thought about being a mom though.  The idea of motherhood wasn’t a pleasant thought for me growing up.  Then I waited too long to have kids and it took quite a bit of convincing on Jin’s part.  I’m obviously glad I did of course.  I couldn’t imagine my life without them now.

• Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
  That’s a teenage thing…isn’t it?  It’s not me.  I’m not like the Bells.  I don’t have a talent for art or music or anything at all.  I spent my young life looking over my shoulder waiting for the day the “monster” would come to get me.  I didn’t focus on a talent or skill of any kind.  I just wanted to have as much fun as I could before I got sent to China to be a wife to the man who killed my mother.  Praying, that day would never come.  Imagine what that was like for me!

• What are you most afraid of?
  Storms.  Hurricanes.  Losing my children.  Jin having a heart attack during one of his temper tantrums and dying young.  Oh!  Don’t write that down!  I wouldn’t want Jin to see that.

• What do you usually wear?
  Well I am past the stage of walking around in baby spit up, so that is good.  But all my clothes are comfortable pieces I don’t mind throwing away when they are wrecked from one of the kids or digging in the garden.  However, just so you don’t think I am a slob, here is a pic of me all fancy one day.

• What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)?
  I’m not comfortable answering that question.  I don’t believe in “classes” of sims.

• How many friends do you have?
  Hmmmm, touchy subject really.  You have to understand that the life we lead…. it’s just not conclusive to……  Can we just skip this question?

• What are your thoughts on pie?
  Pie?  Like the dough and fruit pastry that gets baked in an oven, pie?  I see.  Well, pie is yummy in the tummy, bad for the hips!  Oh boy I spend way too much time with toddlers apparently!  *laughs*

• Favorite drink?
  Oh that is easy.  In my Bell line of juices, I created this fantastic blend of cranerlet and strawberry that is sooo good! It sold for $300.00 a bottle.  So not something I would partake in often for sure.
  *
• What’s your favorite place?
  Here on Samsara Isle.  Although, I would jump at the chance to move back home to France if we ever thought we could do it.  It’s a beautiful place and I do miss it very much.  I try not to think about it because of that.  But it’s not the place that brings you happiness is it?  It’s always the people you are with.

• Are you interested in anyone?
  That’s okay dear.  You just take your time. (smh)

  Well, you said it not me.
  *
• Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?
  I don’t really swim much.  But I would say the ocean I guess.  I like to stay close to the shore though.  I worry about jellyfish and other scary ocean living things.

• What’s your type?
  Well let’s see.  I guess I would say I’m the diplomat in the family.  Usually the one stuck between Jade and Jin.  I’m also the one who calms Jin down when he throws a fit.  I’m practical, I think.  I love to read.  I used to fancy myself a photographer at one time. Does that answer your question?

• Any fetishes?
  Man’s hands.  I don’t know why but they are just so sexy.  Have you seen my husband’s hands???   Mmmm- hmmmmm!  But that’s not weird is it?  I guess it wouldn’t really be a fetish, would it?

• Camping or indoors?
  Indoors!  I had enough of camping over my time with this family and I never want to do it again.  Camping in the winter ruined any chances of enjoying that particular past time.  Have you ever been camping in the winter?  No fire, no heat……  What’s that?  Oh no I guess you are right.  That’s not really camping.  It was like being stranded for sure.
