I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while now and couldn’t resist sharing with all of you. The family portrait that should have been. Three generations of the Bells.
I’ve aged Maya to elder for this shot as she would have been so in this particular part of the time line. However, I know it is debatable whether Ian would still be alive at this point. Ian’s skin tone is also wrong, lighter than it had been before. I just can’t remember what skin tone I had used on him for gen one and two and I only have him saved as CC free.
Maya’s nose flattened right out when she aged to elder! I wonder if the same will happen to Jade.
In case you are wondering, the toddlers are exactly as they were born; Anna with those green eyes, Bonnie with the blond hair and light skin. I’m guessing the game either knows something I don’t, or they are random choices of code. Bonnie does really stand out though, as Marj pointed out to me. No Marj, she is not adopted! LOL I can’t wait to see what they will look like when they all grow up. The island will be so busy then! Will I marry them all off? I just don’t know. My island would turn into its own little community, for they all wouldn’t fit in that one house, nor would I be able to control them all! Glitch city then!

However, Maya’s pose is new, adjusted from the original pose found in Portrait Pose Set 1. (and I need to alter it again to get her hands off her legs) Jade’s pose has not been included in a set yet. I’m already working on the next chapter, so hopefully you won’t have to wait a whole month to see it this time. R.L. is winding down for me which means I will have more time for myself and the things I love…………………………….What Am I Crazy? Christmas is just eighty sleeps away and I haven’t even started shopping! Plus my son has decided to move home for good! Finally he gained some sense! Therefore, those renovations must get done so he can have his own suite! Aiye Aiye Aiye! Does it ever end?
Lastly, I LOVE comments on my chapters! That running dialogue where I find out if the readers liked…or didn’t like what is happening in the story. Plus, if you comment, sometimes I will include little hints to where things are going in my return remarks. LIKES are great! G+ /FB / Twitter shares are awesome as well! There are so many new sites with the name Bee in them, I am competing to get front page visibility during internet searches! Thank you for helping me stay visible in this regard!

Thank you RO! Funny thing about the quads was, I just wanted to get through five generations managing very few family members. Which is the complete opposite of how I usually play with such large families. This shall open up new stories and much much more frustrating moments for me I am sure! I too am looking forward to seeing them as teens!

I have this mod: http://modthesims.info/d/491612 . In my second generation Fidelio was born with greenish hair. I couldn’t stand it, so I chose the coloring of his parents the shade of green was closest to. It was before I found the mod. Now I don’t seem to be having such problems.
Your poses are amazing and I love the photo.
I have to say I also admire comments. I think it’s wonderful how people take the time to say what they liked and didn’t like about your post. I love reading them and responding to them, that’s why I leave comments on everything I read, so hopefully others can feel special, too. Just my way of showing them how I appreciate their work.

Thank you so much for the mod! Fidelio with green hair….hmmmmm, I don’t think so! I am intrigued in particular to Bonnie’s differences. She was last born and when I saw the blond hair, I couldn’t believe it. The lighter skin I can understand. Jade has her mother’s colouring, why not a grandchild as well.
I also try to leave a comment on everything I read. It justifies the hard work someone put into the game play and writing the chapter to provide entertainment for us all. Sometimes I am in a mood and don’t want to leave a comment just then, but I usually go back, re read the chapter and comment then. I can always count on my regulars to leave me the best comments, however I would like to hear from a few more people as well.

What a beautiful family photo! Your poses are amazing, and definitely add reality to the story pics. I think you have your work, as an author, cut out for you with that many kiddlings to raise! It will be interesting to see how the island fares through all this growth. Of course, with Jade as the heir, at least you don’t have Kymber’s problem of choosing one from so many great choices! Maybe I shouldn’t tempt the fates by saying that, since we don’t know how many children Jade may end up with. The story could throw you another curve! =) I’m glad to hear that your life is slowing down a bit. I know we all look forward to hearing more of your story as often as you can manage! ♥

Everyone commenting on this page until now is a big talent in putting touching stories of their sims in a clearly arranged
and appealing Blog. I didn’t catch up with Rosemary yet, but there is still time.
It’s a beautiful photo and really love your poses and I’m thankful for sharing them with us.
I understand very well how motivating a positive or thoughtful comment is and I envy all of you for being able to present your work
in a beautiful setting.
I’m playing everyday and my stories are running along my game-play and I didn’t find the patience to fumble myself into a decent blog. 😉
And most of them are in german language with some english explanations.
Deep in my mind I’m still hoping for a comfort pose for a crabby teenager.
I remember Ian as a quite dark when he was young. I wonder, how you will get along with this bunch of cuteness, that Sun and Jin gifted
to you. Sometimes a toddler get’s the hair-colour from one of the grand-parents and the game doesn’t always make a difference between genders. What I mean is, if there are two grandmothers instead of grandma and grandpa, the genetics in game doesn’t mind anymore.
And I’m looking forward what future will held for Jade. Will Alex be the right one ?
I would, but my english just isn’t good enough, to write a thoughtful comment to every chapter.
And it annoys me, when I catch myself telling nonsense, just for saying something. I hope you understand that. 🙂

I did think afterwards Liese that I should have mentioned something in regards to those who speak a different language and leaving me comments. I’m so glad you are able to read my story and follow along. It’s frustrating to a blog story author, to have the same people comment every chapter while others continue to only give likes. As I said, Likes are great! For they really are! I just love chatting with my readers and I would love to chat with more! Comments help direct the storyline and are incredibly helpful.

I’m terribly sorry about the comfort pose for the teenager! As it is, taking care of my mom as she withers away from me, really does take up most of my time now. Did you see the pose where Jade is told Jilly died by Jin and Sun? Chapter 12, Jilly! Oh Jilly! Would something like that suit you? It’s not my pose, but one that was made for me specifically by Deb, but I’m sure she wouldn’t mind if I shared. I could ask her for you. Please just remind me what you were looking for and I will seriously give it a try.

Oh please – my only wish, you could keep it as a suggestion in your mind, if you have lots of time, relaxed and in the mood to try it.
If this won’t happen, it’s totally alright. The pose, Deb made for this chapter was awesome. But it doesn’t hit the spot for me.
I have a teenage boy, who’s acting defiant, causing a lot of trouble. But his father knows, he’s acting like this, because he found his mother dead, when he was little. I’m thinking of grabbing him at his shoulders and force him to look into the eyes of his father, so that he can get through to him. And a strong hug, when he at least comes down from his tree. Can you imagine, what I mean? I’ve searched through all I could get.
I know, you always try hard, but again – only if there’s time enough and you would like to try it yourself.
Not to hard please, don’t stress you with that.
Christmas is already looking around the corner. 😉 Next year.
My mother in law also has dementia for twelve years now. She’s 94 years old.
It’s very hard to deal with and cost a lot of strengh for everyone.
All my best wishes for you, your mom and your family, to pull through and find a way that eases things down.
Btw. I’m reading Rosemarys story already. Jilly and her brother are just born. ^^

Okay now I have more time to leave a proper comment to you. I hope you know my bit there was not at all to make readers feel guilty! Just trying to spur on a few more opinions for the story. I do use those to help guide me at times, for I have moments where I feel a bit lost. So I hope you didn’t feel I was doing that to you and everyone else! Certainly was not my intention. I know that since I take so long between chapters, it makes it harder for readers to get invested in the direction of the story and I accept that. I am trying my best and I wish I could do more in return.
