Jillian Day Capra born 15th day of Spring
Loving daughter of Liev and Memphis Capra and
Twin sister to brother Leonardo Day Capra
Big sister to Daylynn and Rachel
To begin, I would like to thank everyone for coming and sharing with us, the love and life of a very sweet young girl. There is no doubt the loss of one so young is tragic for her family, her community and the future she will be forever denied on this Simworld. I would like to thank you for the love and support you have shown us, Rosemary and I, in getting through this very difficult time.
Jilly, who was described as the “apple of my eye, like my very own Snow White with her rosy cheeks, blue eyes and black hair,” by her mother, was loved by her family and friends. Not only for her easy-going personality but her ability to be silly as well.

Jilly the toddler, was quiet yet enjoyed the antics of her parents and her twin brother, whom she loved like he was apart of her.

As children, the bond between them became stronger with Leo naming her Jillybean. Leo’s antics were always sure to make Jilly burst into fits of laughter, and nothing made Leo happier than seeing his twin laugh at his jokes.
As Jilly grew up, she could be described as precocious, well-mannered and a bit on the quiet side. “When she gets going (usually to defend Leo), she can be quite animated. She’s his partner in crime. The cover up; the silent partner. The witness who would swear he never start it. They are always in cahoots, those two.” Taken from several entries in Memphis’s journal.
Jilly was also a lover of music, beginning with the piano then later becoming quite accomplished on the drums. She was not fond of art.
Her friends have described Jilly as loyal, kind and sweet with a true enthusiasm or support for the good things that happened in everyone’s lives. “She was like our very own cheerleader who knew exactly when to cheer us on, or bring us down to earth when we had gone the wrong way. She knew the rules and stuck to them and she kept us from trouble more than once! With these qualities in mind, we know she would have made the best doctor, as she had hoped!”
There is nothing more heartbreaking than the death of a child. It is unfair that Jilly was taken away from us at only 17. But, here we are today with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beautiful Jilly. We can only imagine from now on, she will be smiling down on us, until we meet her again.
I invite everyone now, to stand and share
their favourite moment or memory of Jilly.

Special Special ThanX
To my very awesome friend RosemaryMarie, for joining stories with me to give Jilly a back story and a best friend for Jade! It was so much fun and I hope we get to do it again! If you haven’t already, please check out her story at
Noble Doubt
where you will find great characters like Jilly, her brother Leo and their entire family. See how Leo copes with the loss of his twin and how he goes on without her. (spoiler alert -Leo is currently an elder!) It’s a wonderful heartwarming story!
Had to make us cry, huh??? I cried with Jade, and now, again, about Jilly. Leo’s whole life would have been different, and who knows, he may have fallen in love with Jade! Wouldn’t that have been a pickle of a story for both you and Ro!?! =)

I’m so sorry!….but maybe not! LOL That would have been great! But I’m not sure if Leo would have been happy stuck on an island. RO and I would have fun!

What a blast that would have been! 😀 I think you’re right about Leo and the island, but for Jade, he might have made an exception! lol

Thank you so much, Bee, for your heartwarming tribute to Jilly. You have done a beautiful job and it’s a fitting end to our collaboration of Jilly and Jade. I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to bring Jilly back to life. ❤ ❤
I hope we have many more collab's in the future!

Thank you to you as well. It’s silly you know, considering she is a sim, but I really did understand there at the end, why it was so important to me to finish her story. Just smacked me in the forehead and it was all so clear. I loved all the conversations we wrote and I know Jade will miss her tremendously, because I certainly will myself!

That’s such a lovely thing to say and I’m so glad you came up with this idea! You’re really brilliant, you know. 🙂 Here’s to the next collab! 😀

It was hard to read about Jilly’s death all over again (I know that she is only a sim and not real, but I still get attached to these characters).
At the same time you and RosemaryMarie have done a great job at adding to her story. This was a beautiful tribute, and I really did enjoy seeing Jilly again as part of Jade’s story.

Just a sim – well, all of our sims, especially those of the writers, carry a part of our soul with them. And in that case, when two talented simmers interact with that sim, he carries parts of two souls with him. Both of you created the personality of a young girl, that died too soon. This happens in real life now and then, so the we tears shed about her are real too. What a hard job you did, thank you for the touching story and the beautiful presentation.

😭😭😭 JILLY!!! Her and Leo were such cuties! I wish she could have had a different ending in this story, like an alternative universe but it’s okay. Jilly will live on in my heart.

Overall, I think it’s great. I can tell you put a lot of time and thought into creating each and every character. I love your story telling and how you incorporate he thoughts of your audience into your work. I honestly love it and I can’t wait for more tears and heartbreak! Lol! 😊 And don’t worry I’ll be sure to leave even sweeter comments when you come out with more!

Well that is wonderful to hear. I like all my characters to get their chance to have their story told and their voice heard. Which is why we carried on with Jade. I honestly can’t wait for the quads to be toddlers. I love that age group and it should make for some interesting moments. More game play, less posing.

Oh man. I just recently found this blog. The story sucked me in and so I read it all up over the past several days (binge-reading is a thing, right?) Now I’m itching to hear more about Jade, and the babies too. And I’m definitely going to have to head over to Noble Doubt..

I’m so glad! Oh my, your eyes must be sore! More coming about both Jade and the babies, and someone new as well, just a little hint. We have a new character coming to the story! I look forward to all your thoughts for the new chapters.
